Integrated Statistics and Analysis

Building capacity for integrated data sources, as well as integrating production and reporting systems increases the timeliness of products and services. This tenet is central to meeting the need for a holistic analysis of the social, environmental and economic dimensions of sustainable development.

National programmes to integrate statistics also rely on technology, innovative methods and adaptable institutional environments and data infrastructure. To ensure consistency, international frameworks for producing integrated statistics (such as the SNA and the SEEA) are critical.
