BACKGROUND
ESCAP in collaboration with the City of Ormoc, Philippines have been developing Sustainable Energy Transition (SET) roadmap. The SET roadmap will present a detailed assessment of the cities’ current energy situation against a range of global indicators and cities’ own targets. It will also identify gaps in current policies and recommend a set of policy measures to bridge them.
OBJECTIVES
To colicit and integrate inputs from various stakeholder through a consultative process in support to the development of SDG7 planning roadmap for Ormoc City:
- Introduce the SET Road Map Project
- Identify key stakeholders from various sectors i.e., policymakers, research organization, think-tanks, international agencies, government agencies, energy providers, etc.
- Explain SDG7 targets and indicators, and discuss activities and work plan of the project to stakeholders;
- Solicit support from key stakeholders through expert knowledge, data sharing and in the over-all conduct of the Road Map project
ORGANIZATION
The workshop will be organized on hybrid basis. Local Participants will join in person. Local and international via zoom platform.
