The logistics industries in the region are still at developing stage and face challenges relating to high cost and suboptimal performance. To enhance the efficiency of logistics services, ESCAP provides assistance to countries for developing effective transport logistics policies and for enhancing the professionalism and competence of logistics service providers, including supporting human resource capacity development activities through organizing the Training-of-Trainers (TOT) Workshops.

In this regard, ESCAP collaborates with Brunei Freight Forwarders Association (BRUFA) to co-organize a Training-of-Trainers (TOT) Workshop to improve human resource capacity of the transport and logistics sector and enhance the seamlessness of the logistics network in the subregion. The Workshop will be held virtually and focusing on: Framework agreement on Multimodal Transport and Concept; Logistics Quality Management; and Global Supply Chain and Logistics Solution.

The Workshop will be hosted by Brunei Freight Forwarders Association (BRUFA).
