Update on United Nations humanitarian assistance to Myanmar
1100 Wednesday, 14 May, FCCT, Bangkok

Bangkok (UN Information Services) -- The United Nations system in Bangkok will give an update on the humanitarian assistance provided in response to Cyclone Nargis on Wednesday 14 May, 1100 - 1200, at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand (FCCT), Maneeya Center Building, 518/5 Ploenchit Road.

Speakers from UN OCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs) and leading UN humanitarian agencies will provide the latest information on the situation on the ground and relief activities being undertaken.

Another briefing is scheduled for Friday 16 May, also starting at 1100, at FCCT.

Please pass on this advisory to fellow non-Bangkok based media colleagues who have come to cover the Cyclone response.
