The
Time/Cost - Distance model is capable of many functions making it a very useful
tool for transport professionals. Not only can the model can enable a
comparison between routes using either time and/or cost, alternative
transport methods can also be examined in one graph. Additional data can be
collected over a period of time enabling more specific comparison in
countries across the ESCAP region to determine the factors which would lead
to greater cross border efficiency. The results from the model can also be
shared amongst member countries. Examples of possible future benefits can be
