- Promote the simplification, harmonization, standardization of trade procedures
 to reduce the cost as well as the
time of the transactions
- Facilitate trade and investment
flows in particular regarding trade finance and
e-commerce
- Promote the application of the UNESCAP trade facilitation framework in the
countries of the region
