Trade and investment online resources

The Trade and Investment Information Service (TIS) of UNESCAP is the focal point of the trade and investment information network in Asia and the Pacific. TIS became operational in 1980 and since then it seeks to promote trade and investment in the region through the dissemination of relevant information and knowledge. TIS plays a catalytic role in the region offering free and wider access to relevant trade information and knowledge sources and reaching larger audiences.

TIS Gateway offers classified and annotated list of selected online information sources on trade and investment, with particular focus on Asia and the Pacific region. It is intended to serve as a quick and friendly doorstep to the great wealth of online sources of information on trade and investment. It aims to be a tool for policy makers, traders and researchers in the region.

Due to the changing nature of online information sources and materials, TIS Gateway is an ongoing project, regularly revised and updated. If you think your organization should be included in any of the lists or you have any suggestions for expanding and/or improving the coverage of the sources provided, please do not hesitate to send your comments to trade_inf.unescap@un.org
