To promote trade among countries of the region.

Developing countries: mainly consumer goods.

Developed countries: mainly capital goods consisted of textiles, footwear, food stuffs, chemical and pharmaceutical products, cameras, clocks and watches, and handicrafts and 65% of transport equipment, agricultural equipment, machine tools, industrial machinery, electrical equipment, scientific instruments and construction machinery such as excavator, concrete mixer, etc.
