Expert Group Meeting on Localizing the Millennium Development Goals through Community Based Monitoring System

UNESCAP, in collaboration with International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is organizing an Expert Group Meeting on Localizing the Millennium Development Goals through Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS), on 28 November 2006, at United Nations Conference Centre in UN building in Bangkok in conjunction with Committee on Poverty Reduction.

The meeting will be held with prominent experts in this area and is expected to discuss on the Community Based Monitoring System as a tool to assess the achievement of Millennium Development Goals at local level and informal sector. The topic of this meeting is related to the agenda items of Committee on Poverty Reduction, in particular, poverty and the informal sector.
