Regional Workshop on Capacity Building in Public Policy Issues of Internet Use for Business Development in Asia and the Pacific
18-20 October 2006 - Bangkok, Thailand

The Regional Workshop on Capacity Building in Public Policy Issues of Internet Use for Business Development in Asia and the Pacific was held from 18 to 20 October 2006 at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, Thailand. The Workshop was organized by ESCAP in close cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP-APDIP).

The main objective of the Workshop was to discuss and develop a set of training modules on the use of Internet for business developmentthat aims to serve as a policy making reference, principally, for senior to middle level ICT and Internet policy makers and implementers of public policy issues of Internet governance in developing countries and countries with economies in transition in Asia and the Pacific.
