While the Report of the Fifth Asian and Pacific Population Conference, which includes the Plan of Action on Population and Poverty is expected to be endorsed by the fifty-ninth session of the Commission (second phase) and subsequently printed and disseminated, the Fifth Asian and Pacific Population Conference Selected Papers is already available. It will be dispatched to the participants of the recent Conference held at Bangkok from 11 to 17 December 2002.

The 350-page publication brings together some 15 papers prepared by the secretariat, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and invited experts for the Conference.
