Chonburi is in the eastern part of Thailand and is 65 kilometers east of Bangkok.  It occupies an area of 4,368 square kilometers.  Chonburi is administratively divided into ten districts and one sub-district: Muang Chonburi, Bang Lamung, Ban Bung, Panat Nikom, Pan Thong, Si Racha, Sattaheep, Nong Yai, Bou Thong, Ko Si Chang  and Ko Chan sub-district.
