The outcomes of the situational analysis along the Bangkok-Vientiane highway were
presented and a proposal was discussed for appropriate interventions on the
health of road-transport workers travelling along the highway. In addition the
research methodology was reviewed. Key stakeholders in the situational analyses
in the other participating GMS countries participated to ensure compatibility
of data and development of research protocols appropriate to individual country contexts.
