Core-Expert Meeting on Review of ongoing health financing reform and challenge in expanding the current social protection schemes in Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The meeting is organized as a part of the project "Promoting sustainable social protection strategies to improve access to health care in the Greater Mekong Subregion". The meeting is the first to be held in Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The key experts in the health-financing field were invited to review and discuss the background study. The meeting was also used to prepare the second meeting which is to serve as the first meeting of the Lao PDR Technical Working Group on Health Financing, to be held on 28 March 2008.
