The workshop objective is to enhance the capacity of participants with regard to measuring, monitoring and analysing poverty.
After completing the workshop participants are: |

Familiar with concepts on poverty measurements from household surveys,
Able to undertake studies on poverty analysis, including the effective use of software applications such as STATA, and
Able to construct poverty profiles from micro data of household surveys. |
The course/workshop will consist of presentations by the consultant, completion of computer hands-on/practical exercises by workshop participants, presentations and discussions and sharing of findings by participants of their workshop outputs on constructing Poverty Profiles.
