Training dates: self-paced
Target audience: All staff members and gratis personnel
Description:
A continuous high stress level can harm both emotional and physical health. How much is too much? Some people function well under moderate stress, while others become less productive and less happy when there is just a little stress in their lives. At some point, most people want to find a way to make life less stressful or to better cope with periods of increased stress.
The on-line training programme on Stress Management addresses these issues and upon completion of this self-paced course, staff members will be able to:
| |
- Critically assess your own personal stress level |
|
-
Identify stressors in your present life |
| |
-
Describe stressful situations on UN missions |
| |
-
List physical and psychological reactions to stress |
| |
- Apply basic stress coping strategies. |
