Consultation Meeting of the Under-Secretary-General
of the United Nations/Executive Secretary of ESCAP with
Pacific Island Leaders

The purpose of this Consultation Meeting is for the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations/Executive Secretary of ESCAP to share her vision on ESCAP reform initiatives with the Pacific Leaders and also to hear their views on how ESCAP could be of more assistance to Pacific island developing countries, including how ESCAP can enhance the effectiveness of its capacity-development work in the Pacific.
This Consultation Meeting will take place on the morning of 13 March 2008 and will be attended by ESCAP Executive Secretary and the Pacific Island Leaders.
