The sixty-fourth session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok, from 24 to 30 April 2008.
The session comprises two segments: | | I. Senior officials' segment (24-26 April 2008) |  | Meetings of the Committees of the Whole I, II and III | | Meetings of the Working Group on Draft Resolutions

Ministerial segment (28-30 April 2008) | | To facilitate the discussion on the theme topic on “Energy Security and Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific”, a ministerial roundtable will be held in the morning of Monday, 28 April 2008 during the Ministerial segment. | | | Tenth session of the Special Body on Pacific Island Developing Countries, Bangkok, 22-23 April 2008 Countries in Asia and the Pacific will consider how to address labour market issues and develop national sustainable development strategies at the tenth session of the Special Body on Pacific Island Developing Countries, which will meet in Bangkok on 22 and 23 April 2008. | | | Regional Preparatory Expert Meeting of Euro-Asian Landlocked and Transit Developing Countries for the Mid-Term Review of the Almaty Programme of Action, Bangkok, 22 and 23 April 2008. | | |
