            After the last paragraph, insert

            Document E/ESCAP/1263 contains the report of the Third Asia-Pacific Intergovernmental Meeting on Human Resources Development for Youth.  The theme of the Meeting was “Integrated approaches to youth health: focus on sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS”.  The Meeting provided a forum for the exchange of national experiences and good practices on the interrelated areas of sexual and reproductive health and prevention of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS among youth.  The Meeting adopted a set of recommendations for national follow-up and subregional and regional cooperation on integrated approaches to youth health, focusing on the prevention of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS among youth and the promotion of their sexual and reproductive health.  The Commission is invited to review the report with a view to endorsing it.  The Commission may also wish to deliberate on means to promote the implementation of the Meeting’s recommendations, including through subregional and regional cooperation.
